About the author

Irene is a Cuban-American writer who has spent most of her life in Alaska. She and her parents legally immigrated to the USA when she was a toddler, and has been serving her country, and the State of Alaska her entire adult life.

She is newly retired (early) and ready to move to a warmer climate. A trained and experienced technical scuba diver, who also enjoys landscape photography, and long distance hiking.

She loves to travel the world with her husband in search of magical places.

Irene Lee is the author of Where Memories Lie, an urban fantasy thriller was her debut novel that released in September 2025. It is part of the Inheritance Duology but can be read as a standalone novel.

Book Two in the duology: All That Was Written released June 17th, 2026. It continues the story with a romantic subplot and a genre bending adventure in the past.
